This means, we are centering YOU, my client, in every step of the process, weighing your needs, your wants, and your best interest.We have extensive experience curating and managing large-scale events for high volumes of attendees, while working with minimal resources. In other words, we know how to "ball on a budget." Because we don't have an Approved Vendors List, just local folks we REALLY enjoy working with, we can make sure to recommend businesses that work for you, staying on track financially. It's all about giving you peace of mind through creativity and efficiency.One of our favorite things to do is research. I know, sounds boring. When should I book you?

That's a great question, especially because it depends on what you're looking for!If you are looking for someone to help with the planning of your event from start to finish, you may want to consider booking our services at the beginning of the event planning process. If you want some assistance with one particular aspect of the planning process, such as budget management, vision planning, vendor selection, or event timeline creation, consider when would make the most sense for you. For example, budget conversations should be one of the first aspects to plan. BUT event timeline creation could wait until later down the road. If you know you will need assistance with day-of coordination, be it set up, event logistics, or facilitating the many parts of your event, you should definitely reach out as soon as you know. There are times when we book several months out, so it may be best to reach out!

You are based out of New Hampshire. Do you serve clients in other states?

The short answer-- heck yeah! We are proud to serve clients from all over New England. Event planning services can be offered remotely using the Google Meetings feature. For events where in-person services are requested, there is a travel fee for anyone for locations outside of a 25 mile radius from Dover, NH.

We are extremely proud of the top tier service we provide all of our clients, whether you are booking us for a Basic planning session or for the Enterprise package. For clients that are looking for the most robust planning experience, here's what you can expect:Consultation: After inquiring about our services, we will work with you to set up a 30-minute consultation call. This is completely free, and it goes over the basics-- who we are, who you are, what you are looking for, and what next steps are. This way, if it isn't the right fit, there's little investment on your part.Planning Sessions: We will work together to come up with the focus of each of our planning sessions so that support is tailored to you (for the Select and Enterprise package options, the minimum offered is five, but more can be added on as needed or wanted). We will meet virtually as we coach you through each aspect of the event planning process. By the end of our sessions together, you should have a clear sense of what features will be at your event, what vendors you will be using, what your event timeline looks like and what your budget looks like to host the event. Day-Of Coordination: Each client comes with their own set of strengths. Therefore, day-of coordination is really tailored to your needs. We are able to offer a number of services, such as set up for ceremonies, receptions, or gatherings, liaising with and directing event vendors day-of, and facilitating the various parts of an event. Our only goal is to make sure you are stress-free and able to fully engage with your event.When we're not meeting or at your event, here's what you can expect from the Planning Joy LLC team:Vendor Liaising: There is incredible value in having streamlined communication with vendors. Therefore, the Planning Joy LLC team will work with all of your vendors to confirm details, facilitate contract execution, and direct them for the day of the event.Guest Management: Without needing to keep track of every single relative or friend that should be in attendance, you can focus on the joyous aspects of planning your event. We make sure that all guest questions and inquiries are responded to in your stead.Budget Tracking: While the full responsibility is on the client to keep track of financial expenditures, our team will monitor your spending and let you know if you are on track or if we need to reconsider some of your event details.Event Ideation: This is our favorite part. Once you have a clear vision for your event, the Planning Joy LLC team will be researching and thinking about different ways to enhance your event so that it feels fresh, exciting, and innovative.

Do you manage guests needs such as RSVPs, accommodations, and general inquiries?

Your guests are what make your event so special, and we want to support you in managing guests so that every attendee has a fabulous time. Here are the aspects of guest management we can help with:Guest List Curation: Helping you to strategically decide who should be invited and who can be left off the list.RSVP Tracking: Providing a mechanism for guests to respond to event invitations and manage requests and needs as they arise.Accommodations: Finding solutions for guest needs such as ADA accessibility and dietary restriction communication to vendors.Transportation: Providing suggestions and booking of transportation to and from your event.Messaging and Communication:  Helping you craft messaging to go out to invited guests should you need to communicate anything.
